Scotland Deposit Return Scheme

On the 5th of September 2017 Nicola Sturgeon announced that Scotland will introduce a deposit return system for drinks containers.

On the 8th of May 2019 Environment Secretary Roseanna Cunningham told MSPs at Holyrood that a "return to retail" model would be adopted.
